3) One major event was in 1492 when they full kicked out all of the Muslims from Spain. Another one is the fact that they supported Christpher columbus on his voyage. Also the Inquistion.

4. The purpose of the Inquistion was to basically identify then punish or prosecute and correct people who recently turned Christian. They did this because they weren't sure if they were practing Christianity by force or not. They mainly did this to new Christians mainly Muslims

3. Three major events that shaped Ferdinand and Isabel's rule:

4. The purpose of the Inquisition was to eliminate or convert any non-christian people, such as: Jews, Muslims etc.. Christians wanted their religion to grow and be basically the one and only religion.

5. Mudejar: Muslims who lived under christian rule, and were able to continue practicing their religion if they remained loyal to the state. Mudejars were restricted to the right of bare arm.

6. Moriscos looked for help in the Ottoman Empire =, sending requests for aid and military, yet they did very little to help the Muslims .

1) they were four groups, the castilians leaded by Alfonso VIII, the aragonese leaded by Pedro II, Valencia(also called Navarre) with Sancho VII as the head and the Portuguese by Alfonso II.

2) Until Muslims were totally conquered, isabella promised to wear the same cloths every day.

3)the first major event was the total recapture of spain. the second was christopher columbus voyage, which was supported by both ferdinand and isabella. and the third was the beginning of the inquisition.

4)the purpose of the inquisition was to test the christianity of the newly converted christian. because many just used christianity as a cover to practice their former religion. the inquisition specially targeted those converted christians that came from judaism and islam.

5) Mudejar was a term used to refer to muslims that were led to practice their religion freely, but still had to remain loyal to the christian state and follow some restrictions. one of those restrictions were that the muslims were not allow to bear arms.

6) the Moriscos in desperation looked for help in the ottoman empire. but this strategy didn't work bc the ottomans were already fighting two empires (the austro-hungarian and the safavid of iran). it was two risk to make another enemy, so the ottomans couldn't do much.

4)The purpose of the Inquisition in my understanding is to keep track of those who change there religions and who sticks to it.
5)Mudejar is what the Muslims were refered to. Mudejars were not allowed to bear arms.
6)The Moors looked to the ottomans for help but they couldn't help because they already had too many things going on like 2 wars with different countries.

6. The Moriscos looked to the Ottomans for help. This strategy didn't work because the Ottomans couldn't possibly help them at the time because of the wars they were fighting.
